Hello Aztek readers, this is Riley – author and founder of Aztek Technology. I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I am thrilled to continue on this journey with you.

A Reflection on 2023

I am extremely grateful for last year as I have achieved pretty much more than half of my goals for the year. That includes opening up my personal blog – Aztek Technology! I wanted to create a platform where I could discuss my journey in life, recent trends in technology whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle. You can also look forward to more collaborations and progress posts on my blog in this upcoming year!

Besides that, I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to 3 different countries in 2023 – Japan, Australia and Singapore – enjoying their uniqueness in culture and lifestyle. If I were to pick a memorable trip, it would be my trip to Japan. I was able to visit a small village before heading to Shirakawa-go. There was only a small coffee shop and an izakaya in the neighbourhood while temples surrounded the area. I embraced the peaceful mornings where you could briefly smell the scent of freshly brewed coffee and hear the rustling sound of people getting ready for a brand new day. It was a total contrast compared to their cities, which never sleeps. Each trip not only added stamps to my passport but also pages to my life’s story.

2024: The Year of the Dragon

I look forward to the year of 2024 as it has a special connection to me. It is the year of the Dragon, which is also my Chinese zodiac! Although it is said that having the same zodiac as the year may indicate bad luck, but I’d like to see the year as new beginnings and more possibilities! I’m all about starting the engines of new projects and soaring to new heights.
